![]() ![]() Pulled out one of the extra Lian Li fans, disconnected the controller from CHA2, plugged in this single Lian Li fan directly to CHA2 port on MB, opened AI Suite, clicked on Fan tuning, let it do its thing and it gave me full control over this fan. *Running the latest Lian Li softwareMoved the fan PWM plug to another port on the MB and the same issue followed the port. *Running the latest BIOS and Asus software. However when I leave Bios and boot into windows, CHA2 still does not ramp up fan speed with CPU temps. I can go into Q-fan control and manually bring up each fan group to full speed and the AIO pump individually. In bios, I am also able to control all the fans. It can then be closed out and forgotten about. This program must be installed and set to MB pass through. ![]() ![]() Lian Li uses a program called L-Connect to control the fans and RGB. Issue: MB isn’t controlling the Lian Li fan speed (RGB works so no issues there) One is the 4 pin (with only 3 wires) that goes to the USB2 header and the other is another 4 pin (with only one wire) that goes to CHA2 on the MB. Mother board: Asus ROG Strix 570-E Gamingįans: Lian Li Unifan with their controller and cables (there are 7 fans total in my setup with this controller). Okay I finally figured out how to fix this. Had same problem with MSI Z490 MEG ITX board, did not try these steps to resolve. Powered down computer and unplugged from power for 60 seconds.Run AacSetup_FanHal as admin and let install.Run AacSetup_ConBox as admin and let install.Let it finish, then scan again and verify that Device fw version is listed as `e0,50,64,c2,12`.Click browse and select the file that was in the same folder.Scan and select the only device it finds from the dropdown (if it doesn't find a device, yours isn't connected).Downloaded Firmware update and applied. In case anyone else wants the order I followed: ![]() I bought a new motherboard for my PC because I had an MSI one and couldn't figure this out. ![]()
